I just got started playing, was wondering what events the server has running at the moment.

Right now, there's probably not much going on. It's kinda one of those odd in-between times where there's not really anything to time events to.
I know that on the Iselia ship, there's nothing to note going on. I don't think there's anything going on on the Altimira ship, but I'll let Aleron Ives confirm that, since it is his ship.
