Mumble is available for both iOS and Android, so I'm sure our leading lobster would be pleased if you populated the server.

Yep, Mumble is indeed available on pretty much everything, and it would be nice if people were to use it after I set it up.

Using the provided info on the front page I am unable to connect it says refusing the connection.

Odd... It appears to be working fine for me.

Perhaps take a screenshot of your configuration options for connecting and I'll take a look to see if anything looks amiss...

EDIT: I've attached my connection configuration stuff, so make sure yours looks like that (other than the username, of course).

Are there any other settings on the app you're using? On the Mac/Linux/Windows version, there are various other options that might help out. I mentioned them over on the post you made on the site itself. Basically, if you can find options for doing so, try disabling QoS and/or forcing TCP.

You should also try connecting to one of the public Mumble servers out there to see if you can even connect to one of the more well-known servers.

I looked at the server logs, and I didn't see anything in the past day about anyone else connecting other than myself. I do know that others can connect, as I did test it out with someone else while we played PSO on 9/9.

I tried turning on the TCP and turning it off I don't see any other options. How would I go about figuring out how to connect to a public Mumble server or getting the information?

By the way thank you for all the effort you're putting into the server and everything else, I just convinced my friend to buy a broadband adapter and get online with us. XD I'm an enabler lol

In the client on OS X, the program has can automatically fetch a list of public servers. Unfortunately, I don't know how one would do that on the Android app. Here's a random one from the list from the OS X version that you can try to connect to:

Hostname: fish.mumbleboxes.com
Port: 36001

Hrm... Ok, here's another thing you can try. Change the hostname for the Sylverant one to "67.222.144.120". Perhaps for some reason your phone is unable to resolve the address (or is resolving it to the IPv6 address when you don't have IPv6 set up).

I'm glad that that worked. There's probably a bug with that program that caused it to try IPv6 when you don't have an IPv6 connection. Oh well, all's well that ends well, I suppose.

Indeed, and while I'm at it. How do I exchange my Photon Drops on sylverant ? I don't see the downloadable "Gallon Shop" quest (infact a few of the offline quests are missing):/

Offline quests aren't going to show up when you're online.
If you're looking for Gallon's Shop make sure you're in episode 2.

Sega never made any of the online quests available for download. Some servers make those quests available for people who want them (as playing them offline makes it easier to hunt items from the weaker enemies), but Sylverant does not. After all, we want to encourage people to be sociable by playing online, right?

Sylverant does restrict quests by episode, which is something Sega didn't do, so as tueidj said, you need to enter Episode II to exchange your Photon Drops.

By the way, do I have to beat the bosses in single player in order to unlock the next level? I did all of the mines in online last night defeated the boss and I was able to go to the ruins but now I can't today. hmm

Yes, you have to complete the levels offline in order for them to permanently unlock both online and offline.
