Yes mr.test seems to be the char used by ives.

The message of the red ring find is mostly used on Blueburst servers, on v2 while something similar would be cool, it can never be applied to something that doesn't drop, in this case the red ring.

If characters don't save even in offline mode, you're probably running on Vista/7 without administrator rights. PSO saves data in the Program Files directory, and since that's a system folder, you have to be an administrator to have write access to the save files. If you don't have write access, PSO won't be able to save your data. You would need to either install PSO somewhere else where you have write access or play the game from an account with administrator status to fix that problem.

If you're referring to saving on the server itself, that is not a function of PSOPC. PSOBB does that, but not any earlier version.

In the lobby everyone is visible, because all can interact with each other, as for playing, games you cannot join will not be visible because even if they weren't invisible, you would not be able to enter.
Examples:
- a v2 player cannot enter a GC game
- A v1 player cannot enter a v2 only game

Still there are ways of making the game visible/joinable, such as setting the game type when creating one at the counter and by using commands so that the gc game can be joined by v2 players (not recomended, backup char data before doing it)
