Hey, you can get the libraries at http://www.dreamcast.es
We finally found some source code lost on some HDD.
http://dreamcast.es/news.php?readmore=284
it is not the newest version and might have some bugs, but it works.
Until Chui pops up this is the best we could find.

I, as well as others, appreciate the fact that you are working to resolve the issue peacefully. I'm currently on vacation myself, but I do intend to take a look at the code once I have a chance to do so. Thanks.Neoblast wrote:Hey, you can get the libraries at http://www.dreamcast.es

I also look forward to seeing the complete code when someone gets a hold of Chui to obtain it.

Re: Open Sonic port for Dreamcast Released
Sorry to ressurect an old topic, but I'm trying to get this working on my DC. The first post claims this game runs at 60fps, but on my DC it runs between 3 and 10fps. It hits 10 when Sonic or your character is the only sprite on screen and drops to about 5 when an enemy shows up. It again drops to about 3 when you get hit and the rings fly out. Even at 10fps the game is extremely slow and basically unplayable.
I burned the OS.cdi file with DiscJuggler and it seems to work fine otherwise. Is there something I am missing?
