A teaser for the Kickstarter-financed officially licensed Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs - The Video Game for Dreamcast, 3DS and PC (Win, Mac, Linux) has been released.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sa ... ts/1767072

Today I want to show some early WIP footage of the first part of mission 1.
Beware! This level and material is still being worked on and highly WIP! There is content missing or not finsihed (the beep sound for example XD) and some features are not finished aswell.

Nothing impressive here.
Better than Alice's Mom's Rescue though.

"If you don't have anything positive to say, it's better to say nothing at all."

The pixel art in this was done by Henk Nieborg who also did Lionheart, Flink, Lomax and Shantae. This guy is about as good as it gets for a European pixel artist.

It is obvious that you have not the faintest idea what you are talking about when it comes to 2D games. Your totally unprofessional and utterly unqualified remarks in coverage of the announcement of Razion were the reason we did not get a port of that game. Timm was that pissed about the "scene's" feedback (which in reality was just you posting on five different websites).

I understand that you prefer 3D graphics but some of us here are a bit older and do enjoy games from the 8-bit and 16-bit era.

Aaah my old friend, don't be so angry I've played my share of 2D Dreamcast games. MVC2 usually enters Top 10 Greatest DC games of all time. My personal favorite is Fatal Fury, that is a minimally enhanced 16-bit Neo-Geo Port. I've not said Saber Rider looks shit. I just said nothing impressive.

You understand that I prefer 3D games. That's nice. As I am sure you know I've said far worse to Xenocider Team which is a 3D game. I'm sure you've read my comments. My friend if you are going to get personal - I can do that to. You have a track record of censoring community opinion. Back in the day several members left DCS after you deleted their comments on ugly homebrew games. Also you are not blind or naive so you my dear, dear friend please stop consciously being ignorant Razion was hated by more than just me. The "scene" denounced Razion. I am a part of said scene.

It wasn't cause I write for 2 websites. DCS and Nerds.

Fyi, I've been working with with Rene since Fast-Striker came out organizing contests and distributing review copies annually. I even got Dux an endorsement from ES Team.

The only one utterly unprofessional is my friend who is attacking a fellow news poster and digging up skeletons. I suppose I am unprofessional for reciprocating.

I am sorry, I don't remember. Could you elaborate?
