Happy Birthday Birthday Dreamcast- How are you celebrating?
Alrighty, this board has been pretty quiet this week, so let's see if we can kick start it up right. Ok, so post what you are looking forward to this year on the Dreamcast. Also, post what you have played / will be playing today in honor of the machine that is still thinking even if the masses are not thinking of it.
Ok - I am looking forward to more imports. Sure, it has been said that Under Defeat was the last one. However, I have hope that it isn't.
What I have played so far has been some good old genesis emulation, the Rhythm of Destruction pack from DC Evolution, Noise2SA port by Chui...freakin' brillian shooter...like Rez, Cosmic Smash, and Shikigami all got together for some menagerie leading to this great shooter, some Sonic Adventure 2, and I have no idea what else is in store.

Ah well, I just bought her a belated present on ebay, it's hard to resist a sealed copy of Ready 2 Rumble for 2 euros

You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.

Yesterday for DreamCast day I got out the DreamCast for the first time in a while and played NFL2k for about 3 hours. Then I moved on to NBA2k1 for a while. I would say the total time I spent "celebrating" DCday was about 6 hours, I wish I would of woke up earlier yesterday. Well, I did go out to eat, so let's just say I did it for the DC (forgot to bring the DreamCast out to eat w/ me though) .

I am broke right now, so presents are out of the question for now. Hopefully I find a new job soon and get some money to spend on DC. I guess I can give my DC NesterDCse, I havn't tried SE yet believe it or not...

Please stop referring to it as a girl. It is not a ship.
For the dreamcast birthday I cleaned my lounge everything made the place shiny cleaned and rearranged the setting.
Kept the consoles on a new table a smaller one then my old one, kept the consoles (in this order GameCube [Right] Dreamcast [Centre] PS2 [Left]).
Then on the Side table Next to the Couch (the old console table infront of the tv) Kept three dreamcasts [2 ntsc left right and Pal in the centre] and the dreamcast box in the middle of all 3. Kept a Sega Genesis2 /32x, infront of the Dc's didn't look to good so kept it behind the box so no one could see it.
The cleaning of the dusty Lounge started at 3 P.M. and finished up by 6 P.M.
Then I went on to clean all my dreamcast game cases(with glass cleaning spray) however only cleaned 60-70 games by 7.P.M. so had to wrap everything up fast as some relatives where comming over otherwise the cleaning could have easily taken a few more hours.
Still have to clean my Old Sega game section (saturn, 32x, sega CD and F/S dreamcast games)
P.S All the Sega Genesis games where stuffed into the desk of the Console Table.
