That kid is in his 20's now and an awesome jazz drummer. Look up some of his stuff.

Yes, but that video wasn't filmed when he was 22, it was filmed when he was 12. There's a big difference between a kid like him and your average drummer in a band nowdays. The kid is 12.

I respect that one armed drummer from def leppard (dont give enough of a shit about def leppard or him to know his name) given that he only has one arm and all.

Indeed, Ted Kirkpatrick is an amazing drummer, but he doesn't hold a candle to Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater.

The greatest drum solos I've ever seen, however (and I've seen my fair share), have been performed by the Newsboys. They always find something truly incredible to do during their percussion solos, and it usually involves at least two people playing percussion at the same time.

I would certainly be the last to take anything away from good ol' Nicko, being that Maiden is probably my favorite band of all time. However, as far as raw talent goes, Mike Portnoy is quite a bit better than Mr. McBrain.

I didn't watch the solo (will do later), but as drummers go, I think Dave Grohl is pretty good. Your mileage may vary, however.
