well i happened to see farrenheit 911 last night and saw some things that made me really think about my views. its clear to me now that the president lied to the american people. i'm very glad that i was not able to vote for bush, because its painfully obvious that anyone was better than that hypocritical liar. The man lied to america about WMD's and uses peoples ignorrance to lure them into following him. everyday more and more people are dying in iraq because of his mistakes. i only hope that everyone will begin to forgive me for my terrible mistake.

Moore makes some good points, but he also skews the truth just as much as Bush does. I think they both have agendas and will do whatever they have to in order to get them done. Take what Moore says with as much salt as you take the things Bush says.

What's most interesting, to me, is that very little of what Moore does is outright lying. He chops up quotes, assembles video footage, etc, but very rarely out and out lies. Just interesting.

Just out of curiosity, how would you know he lies if you haven't watched his films or read his books? How do you know that the information you're getting second-hand about him is accurate?

Don't think Moore is the only one to stretch the truth. I'm not defending him but I think the poeple dis-crediting him also stretch the true. And we all know the media always stretch the truth.

On a side note I never knew how much you couldn't trust the media till a few days ago when my mate went to court for sentencing for a crime he commited. He was found guilty of a lesser charge put up like 6 months ago (I won't go into details, too long). The day he got his sentence the tv news said "he was found guilty of Man Slaughter today". He was accually found not guilty and that was like 6 months ago, he was found guilty of failing to stop I think. (you can guess he ran over someone, but the guy was accually dead before he ran over him

the media is driven by ratings and not news.they have no real credibility left.that includes fox news as well.

If you want to see a well-done documuntary on the Iraq War, watch Control Room.
It's an excellent film- there's no Fahrenheit-like commentary by the film maker, just a presentation of the footage.
It's much more relevant and poignant that Fahrenheit.
