It doesn't seem to work in Null threads.

Any page that loads that loads resources from a different webserver that's not using SSL (e.g. linked images, signature images) will cause your browser to no longer show that it's secure since some resources weren't loaded securely. Your connection to DCEmulation is still encrypted though.

I know you guys are joking, but many people fail to see the point of all websites encrypting their traffic.
If only websites with sensitive data encrypted their traffic, then spies could assume "encrypted data = data worth stealing". By encrypting trivial data such as this site's public forum posts (esp. off-topic threads) this assumption becomes less and less correct.

I agree, that's mostly the reason I went ahead and set it up. With free certificates available from Let's Encrypt, it makes things a lot easier.
