For the love of God, someone hack PNAC's website and put that up.

This is so true. It takes like twenty minutes before I can watch a single Simpsons episode of the same length. That's when I decided to stop buying their DVDs.

I mean, I had all these episodes on VHS anyway and I only needed to press Play and that's it. It's ridiculous.

Edit: ...and let's not forget the fact that they're telling people who didn't even know about it before (or at least weren't aware of it being that easy), that they can just go and "download" the content of "this DVD" from the "internet" via "file-sharing".

Another interesting thing is that they mention that it's illegal to download "pirated" movies... That's obviously referring to someone who at some point is making money off of other's intellectual property. - So if I go and download a movie from a private source, like, say a person who is just doing it for fun, then it's legal !? ^ ^

Which version of the Simpsons did you buy? Mine takes like 30 seconds to get to the menu...

Special/Limited Editions, Season 1-9. German PAL DVD (RC2). Each DVD contains like three "intros" which are unskippable, including the famous "You wouldn't steal a car" thing.

Then there's the Simpsons intro which is not skippable as well. I could live with that, but on top of the other junk (which is like five times louder than the actual episodes anyway)...

i find the menu button on most remotes to be generally useless at the start of a dvd, but the chapter skip usually jumps right past all kinds of previews, commercials, and fbi warnings at the start of discs.

...Actually, this isn't a gag image. It's the actual logo for the Republican Convention next year.

The jokes just write themselves
