Hi DCEmulation.
I thought I'd leave a post introducing myself since I intend to be spending a lot of time here over the coming weeks/months.
I've spent the past couple of evenings learning the kOS build process. It's taken a few runs to get right, but today I finally succeeded in building toolchains and dcload for OSX Mavericks and Ubuntu 14.04.
It's been fun running the examples over the wire with dctool, and I'll be spending the next few evenings tweaking them and trying to get some of my own work running on the console.
Just introducing myself to the community.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.
Fortunately, I've been using Debian-based Linux distros since around 2005, and Mac for the past three months, so I've benefitted from former bash shell experience.I.M. Weasel wrote:Sounds like a quick learning process.
