Garudoh, The Music of video Games & mp3 converters

I dont know if anybody here was a fan, but there WAS a great youtube channel called 'The Music of Video Games' that was created and maintained by the user garudoh. Sadly, just about a month ago, he channel was deleted, and all 500+ of his videos are now gone. Its a tradegy!

The videos were usually games-for instance TMNT 1 on NES- where he took 80% of the games songs, let them play for 1 min-2mins, and compiled them all together into one compilation video.

Did anybody listen to these? I was a huge fan, but now he and all the videos are totally gone!

So this somewhat leads into my second point- does anyone know of a good youtube to MP3 converter? I had one that worked 'bestvideodownloader(a firefox plugin) but doesnt seem to function anymore. There are a lot of youtube to mpeg/avi/flv converters, but i cant find a simple mp3 converter. any help is appreciated.

I use http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ to get mp3s from youtube. It's got ads on the site but works well enough.
