e-bouquet help?

Post by cube_b3 »

Alright gang need help.

I have to send my sister flowers for her wedding anniversary in London.

I looked up a few sites and well they are pretty expensive I mean I could get a copy of Shenmue 2 cheaper than a bouquet.

So those living in the England or experienced in ordering flowers online refer me a good, economical website.

Contrary to popular belief, we Canucks are bunch of sarcastic jerks.

@ Cube, sorry, I honestly don't know anything about flowers, nor any UK experience (except for what Top Gear teaches me). The only opinion I can give on buying flowers is that you seem to over pay no matter where you get 'em from.

Flowers are expensive because they know people buy them for occasions and not for the actual product itself. It's like a wedding dress, it's sold as an item to create emotional attachment, not as a simple outfit. And they know that emotions have waaaaaay more value than products.

In other words, if you intend to send flowers for a wedding, you are agreeing to pay multiple times what they are actually worth.

I already own Shenmue II although I wouldn't mind buying it again as my copy isn't exactly mint.

As for the flowers, I gots good news boys.

Recently someone sent my sister flowers and she told me her husband got all asthmatic around em so she had to get rid of them.

So I quietly bought her a Kenwood Blender/Grinder set off ebay which was cheaper than most bouquet, but 10 pounds more than a copy of Shenmue II.
