NES Sale

Post by DanteJay »

I'm selling off a lot of my old games and systems. Some of it I've had since I was a kid, and some of it is left over from my old game store.
Before I put this stuff up on Kijiji and Craigslist, I thought I'd give you guys first dibs. If any of you guys are interested in something, make me an offer.

Note: I don't believe the R.O.B. works. It's probably only good for parts.

Yes. When I was a kid, I got bored one day and decided to spray it black to match all my Sega consoles.

Update:

3 of NES' best games have been sold: Rescue Rangers, Crystalis, and Metroid.

Growing up, I used to play Rescue Rangers for countless hours with my brother (it's an awesome two player game). We'd never really get to the end, because sooner or later I'd always end up BSing my brother by throwing him off edges/platforms and often into enemies. I couldn't help it, because he'd get so mad when I did it.

And imho, Crystalis is hands down one of the best RPGs of all time. Last time I beat it, was around the time Hawke and I shared a class grade 10. He'd play it on the PC during class (when the teacher wasn't looking) and would show me many of the games secrets.
@DMF, not sure if my game save is still on it. If it is, don't load it or you'll spoil the ending for yourself. :P If it's not on there, check first to make sure the game is saving. Cause if it isn't, you may have to put in a new battery.

Got it. I used to play Rescue Rangers at my best friend's house back when I was in grade school. It's one of those games that's a little on the easy side if you play by yourself, but ridiculously hard co-op because you keep getting in each other's way. Lots of fun and frustration ensued, and I'm looking forward to reliving that.

Also, this means there are now only three games left on my "need-to-own" list for NES:
- Mega Man 5 (I have all the others, though 6 has a torn label and my copy of MM1 was signed by The Protomen)
- Battle Kid & the Fortress of Perial
- Gargoyle's Quest 2

I *may* be forgetting a couple of things, but those are the only NES games I can think of on my want-list that I still do not have.
