Why ? - because he actually can articulate himself and doesn't have to resort to grunting three word sentences ? or because he actually has something to say instead of spending his time with homophobic bullying of other forum members ?

Finally someone said it because I lack the balls. I'm getting pretty tired of Jeeba's current wave of Xylene-esque contributions.

That's pretty sweet. I enjoyed the song in the first video. One thing I wonder is if all these old records have been preserved by the music cartel, or if most of them are slowly cracking and warping their way out of existence.

I'm not going to lie, I had no idea that Istanbul was not originally by They Might Be Giants.

It's originally by a Canadian vocal group called the Four Lads, back in the 1950s.

And on that note, "Shake, Rattle & Roll" wasn't originally by Bill Haley and the Comets either. It was originally written and performed by Big Joe Turner, shown in one of the earlier videos ("Roll 'em Pete"). Joe Turner is one of the folks most directly responsible for the existence of rock and roll. Here's the original:

And some more:

...Notice the comparative lack of chatter this time. Pretty much just sticking to playing the record now
