iPhone on straight talk woot.

Post by SuperMegatron »

Walmart has this cell phone service called Straight talk. Its basically a service that just leases capacity from other providers. They have a plan that has unlimited talk, text, and web for $45 a month. If you go to straight talks website you can buy an AT&T compatible sim for like $16. Just enter the apn and your a go. Great deal I am very pleased and the sim works in my ipad too!

Yep, I heard about this, since Straight Talk goes through AT&T's towers and system, the Straight Talk SIMs work on iPhones even though they're locked.
It's thinking...

Why not just jailbreak/unlock and go with whichever provider you want?

edit: oh right, the price.

Only providers that use sims are AT&T and T-mobile along with there prepaid babies. T-mobile 3g uses a frequency not compatible with the iPhone.
