BootDreams 0.6.1 released
The very last version of BootDreams has been released.
Here's what's new:
- Fixed: BDS support in non-'Use complete paths' mode
- Fixed: Menus not hidden under CDI burner when BootDreams is first opened
- Fixed: BDS file selector now only shows *.bds files
- Fixed: IP.BIN logo file selector now only shows *.mr files
I've also released the source code (Visual Basic 6).
Both are avalibe here.

Woot! A new version of my favorite SB-app
Bug report:
If I create a DJ .CDI and check 'Hide IP.BIN' it compiles a not working DJ image. If I create an ISO with the same option checked and burn with CDRecord it works perfecly for me ( along with the IP.BIN hidden ).
I think it's inserting the IP.BIN 2x times into the CDI.
Remember my tests with my JP DC & BootDreams ? Well, you were right and I stand corrected: My JP DC broke a few days after we chatted about that...

The problem is that bin2boot doesn't find an IP.BIN in the data section of the ISO. I'm guessing it doesn't check if the IP.BIN is inserted into the bootsector, so it asks if you'd like to create an IP.BIN and it doesn't allow you to continue if you choose not to.Christuserloeser wrote:Bug report:

So as far as I know, the only thing that works with "hiding" the IP.BIN is the CDRecord GUI.

BootDreams does not "mess" with your files. I creates IP.BIN if you do not have one or it scans your 1ST_READ.BIN to check it if is scrambled (which is not required to continue). There is NO code that "messes" with your files unless you specifically tell it to.Evil_Ernie wrote:is there a way to stop bootdreams from messing with my ip.bin and my 1st_read.bin ???
