Recently I found the ECHELON DC VCD PLAYER program that, if burned onto a cd, can boot up the Dreamcast and convert it to a VCD Player. I tried it and it works, but when I put a movie in the sound was stuttering, and the screen would become heavily pixelated every 5 seconds. I tried this same movie in a compatible DVD player, and it worked just fine.
Does anyone know what could be causing the movie to play so irrationally? In the readme file it says " Please note that this VCD Player has support for VCD2.0 and under", what does that mean ?

The VCD Player in question is not only a piece of crap, but also illegal. For a decent VCD player, go along to http://www.lik-sang.com and you'll find a very nice one equipped with a remote control and MP3 playing capabilities.
