MKISOFS & CDRECORD

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Those two are sufficiently complated that if you have no idea how to use them, you're probably better off not trying to use them at all.
If you're really curious, a number of self-boot kits contain batch files that will at least demonstrate the use of MKISOFS, as far as CDRECORD help goes, check http://mc.pp.se/dc/cdr.html, the instructions are for linux, but just get the win32 ports and type those commands into a dos shell (with the exception of dd, you'll need to find a blank file maker, of which there are many for win32).

Hope that helps...
