NesterDC SE CD Builder Not Downloading From Master Library

I've acquired the NesterDC SE CD Builder and have pointed it to the following URL but the only files it will download are the NSF files.

After some research I discovered this post: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=99800#p1031817
It and the next one explain that the directory names have been truncated from what they are supposed to be and sure enough nsf/ is the only one that was too short to be truncated.

Basically this is a request to fix those names. I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet after two years. But if that cannot be done for whatever reason then I may see about downloading the files I need manually and using a pre-made NesterDC SE image as a guide for manual placement. Alternately I may see about downloading the whole library and pointing the CD Builder to the downloaded copy. If I do this I'll probably archive it too just in case something happens to this mirror. After attempting to access so many dead links I am now a little paranoid about losing such resources.

Sorry about that, I renamed the folders. Let me know if it works for you or if anything is still broken. I would say maybe one or two people have access to those files (since it's an archived subdomain and not an actively maintained site) and no one brought it to my attention, so...

If you see any other broken links or files missing on this site please let me know. I know this site probably doesn't look very actively maintained but we are trying to get things together and fixed up.

Edit: Ignore the below message, I found the problem on my end. Realized I had set it to the default master library, forgetting that we are using a mirror. It all works fine now. There are still a couple of errors but I guess those games simply don't have entries or images.
It is interesting though that there is apparently still a master_nes.db at the original site.

It is a mix of .nes and .zip files as you can see but I don't think that would make any difference anyway. I went with my third option yesterday and downloaded them all onto my computer and pointed the CD Builder to it and it worked just fine. (Just downloading them and renaming the directories worked out easier than I expected, actually, since the site also contains zipped copies of the directories and they are only ~10 MB of less each.) Technically I don't actually need your help anymore but it is important to get this all sorted out for the future, right?

I can't tell what it might be, I didn't have to rename the database or edit it in any way so it can't be that, right? I can give you the full console output if you want but it's all the same errors.

Good thing I checked here, I thought your PM must have been about the guide I wrote for making your own custom library.

Did you put in the address for this site's mirror? The builder defaults to another library that isn't available anymore and you have to replace it with the following address:
http://nesterdcse.dcemulation.org/master_library/

I don't recall where exactly you have to put it I'm afraid but I think there is a togglable button somewhere that lets you edit the source address.

If that's not the problem try to tell us a little more detail about what it's doing wrong. Are there error messages?

I know some games dont have anything but it fails for every game

I have identified what was causing the issue and it should be fixed now. There was a bad script on the server that reverted the folders back to the bad truncated forms. I have disabled the script and renamed the folders back to what they should be. Thanks again to Silhalnor who pointed out the issue to me.

Yes thank you it works now. But I still cant make a disc because bin2boot wont work on 64 bit systems

I'll take a look at NesterDC SE CD builder later on tonight, it's possible that the bin2boot tool can be replaced with a more modern tool that does support 64-bit systems.
