NullDC Not Loading KOS Examples :S

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

NullDC Not Loading KOS Examples :S

Post by Lord Pingas »

Hi, this is my first post on the forums and I hope not to make a newb out of myself like I do a lot on The Chaos Rift forums so I'll try to make this question as non newbish as possible...

I just download the DC Dev ISO r4 and have compiled a few of the examples but when I try to load the bin and/or elf on nullDC nothing happens. It's just a blank white screen and nothing appears.

Anyway thanks for these forums and you will be seeing me a lot on here.

When I edit the makefile to build it to a .cdi file and try to run it on nullDC it says "Selected image failed to load." :S

What should I do?

Compile them as ".bin", and create a CDI out of it with BootDreams. I've never heard of someone compiling source into a Diskjuggler image (CDI).
