CPU Replacement

Post by AuroEdge »

I currently have a "Yonah" Intel Core Duo 2.16Ghz T2600. If I were to upgrade it, what would be best? I think I would have to use a "Merom" Core 2 Duo T7600 (click here) although I'm not sure that .17GHz would be worth the cost.

Don't buy into the megahertz bs, check up on the actual chip performance
(an example I remember reading that the 2.4 chips from lastyear are now slower than the 2.1 chips of today of the intel core chips).
So, just check into it and decide from their.
SCO=SCUM=M$=SCO it keeps repeating :P
