Uh-oh, a problem with my Dreamcast again =(

Discuss modifications you have done or plan to do to your Dreamcast or any other hardware, or discuss devices you want to build. If your console does not work or is acting up, ask about fixing it in here.

I bought resistors to fix the fried F1 resistor, I took the old one out, soldered the new one in, screwed everything in, turned it on - nothing. It won't turn on, the orange main light turns on a sec but goes off, nothing else powers up at all.

Heres a link to the resistors I bought:

Resistor

Any ideas?

The resistor you bought isn't a good one, it can prevent your gameport to work properly if heavy loaded, but it's doesn't prevent the dreamcast to turn on.

Check if the video cable is properly inserted, and the internal cables/alimentation connectors as dcmodder adviced.
