My arcade stick's finally done!!!

Well, it's been done for awhile but I was waiting on my dad's friend (who owns a custom print shop) to print out my overlay. Even the screws are flush with the plexiglass! Here's the pics:

I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. Seriously, this makes every game so much more fun (which I didn't think was possible). It's like having a naomi at home (and MUCH cheaper!).

Veeery nice. I'd love to do something like that, but I don't have the time, resources or knowledge to do it :(

Great work

Looks awsome. You should use some hot glue to glue the controller cord against the side so it can't move around.

It would have been awsome if you had made some sort of vmu slots into it, but as is, it's so beautiful.

look's awesome.

the only thing i would do if i were you is secure the wire coming out of the unit...it's just kinda in a hole bigger then it so it ruins the very profesional look of it.

but other than that, after seing this...i have an idea on my next project..after i finish my small xbox and xbox w/ built in 5.4" flipping screen and other stuff.

Professional-looking arcade controller!
Have you wired the D-pad or the analog stick? (is it possible to wire and use the analog in a arcade controller?)

Thanks for asking, I wired the d-pad, but your question made me look into this.
I found a guide here:
http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/arc_dc4.html

This would be great for making virtual on twin sticks. We just have to figure out the pins around the analog stick.

That's great, because some games can't be played in the d-pad(PSO as example), so, two sticks would solve the problem. (also for games like Half-Life/Fur Fighters/other FPS')
