My HIGHLY modified dreamcast controller.

Post by dcmodder »

well one day i got bored of my huge ghetto home made dreamcast arcade controller. so i re made it and i think it came out great! o and all of the holes for the buttons etc were made by pounding a small screw driver into the wood about 20 times for every hole. and on the back where the vmu holder is was chizeled out by hand. my first attempt split the wood :-( but i restarted and this is how it came out. as of right now i only have one vmu slot hooked up but i think that'll be enough for my fighting games and metal slug 2 (neo4all) ;)

I was thinking about making my own arcade stick just last night, but didn't know how I'd make the actual controller (like the plastic). Awesome job!

That is so awesome. Is that an official dreamcast controller board or the mad catz?

Bit messy/rough round the edges, but still a good job.

I might make one soon :)

Awesomeness!!
I never liked those bulky arcade controllers, but hey, that's what makes the world go round.

You don't have to fit anything. You can order a dreamcast adapter from the x-arcade website.

Some company doesn't make an arcade stick?

anyway, nice touch with the vmu......
what kinda wood you use? cause someday once I find a steady job, I might try something similiar. woot!!!
