Best format for skeletal meshes in DC?

Which open format for skeletal meshes is preferred for running on DC? MD5? IQM? I'm asking this because there are a lot of experienced people here and i'm sure they have tested a lot of these alternatives. :mrgreen:

ps.: For static meshes, MD2/MD3 is still preferred, right? Or OBJ?

Can't tell anything on or against the usage of the specific formats you've provided, but I can elaborate on points you might want to estimate before picking one:
1. Memory
If it eats a lot of memory then it's probably not a good fit.
2. CPU usage.
Same as above.
You might want o perform some benchmarks on emulator or PC. Build some simple examples, load a lot of models and measure the CPU and memory load.
