Pretty much. Dreamscript is Javascript with a bunch of classes and functions exposed to make things happen on your DC like display images, play music, animate charaters and so on. The NesterDC SE user interface was written entirely using Dreamscript. By making a version of Dreamscript that runs on ...

Problem with DC Fenix
When using the latest version of the Fenix-runtime for DC, my game freezes at a few points. It seems to be before some images are about to be displayed. Strangely enough, this does not happen with the main menu, which is displayed the same way. This doesn't happen on the Linux or GP2X version of the...

Thanks for the tip. I usually use extension cords for all controllers and all four controllers have mem-cards in them. Better be safe than sorry, so Ill plug out the controllers I don't use when using the maraccas. Don't forget about Samba V2k though. It's everything and more than the original is. O...

I tried again, and this time they actually worked almost perfect. All I did was to move the sensor much further away from the tv. This stopped all the random lock-ups it had. Perhaps the tv disturbed the sensors or something. Now I am certain though : Samba de Amigo is the best rythm based game Ive ...

Cha Cha Amigo controller
I just bought Samba De Amigo together with 3rd party Cha Cha Amigo controllers. First, I must say the game is incredibly fun. Actually the best rythm-based game ive played. Or it would be, if the controllers worked a bit better. As it is now, they work fine mostly, even though its a bit hard to hit ...

This is silly. If Sega was going to drop some sweet talk, E3 was the forum to do it. They aren't going to revive the system. However, a professional DC handheld would be the sweetness. Crazy Taxi on the go...please...that would be awesome! I like this idea! A handheld DC. As long as the hardware is...

A port of Zelda Classic would rock! I really hope it will happen! What is this Charas? I was reading a forum post saying that Charas(not sure if I spelled it right) is good for character models like FF. I was wondering if anyone here had used it . Never heard about it, but a search on Altavista gave...

I am actually working on a 2d rpg together with some friends. It will be using pre-rendered backgrounds like Final Fantasy 7-9. If any of the 3d-libraries for Fenix gets ported to Dreamcast there might be 3d-elements as well. Id like 3d-battles for example. There a few libs which use software-render...

Perhaps the Holly3D engine can help once its released : http://a128.atspace.com/holly3d/
Might be able to use it as a OpenGL wrapper or something. (Its probably obvious to those who really knows stuff like this that I have no idea what Im talking about ).

Its a very fun game, but the problem with porting it is that it uses OpenGL, which for the moment, takes quite a lot of work to port since there isn't any perfect OpenGL API for it for DC. There are a few attempts, like KGLX (http://a128.dreamcast-scene.com/projects.htm) I even think KOS has somethi...
