You need to selfboot your own version to be able to choose the theme, if you burn a pre-made image you're stuck with whatever theme is on it. If you don't get a selfboot version made with Auto Detect Selfbooter, post a link to the theme you want to use & I'll make a Nero image for you that is us...

It's something to do with your computer, I don't know what though. Most selfboot programs do exactly the same thing that you've described on my PC, DSSBS Final is the only one I can get working properly, even the earlier versions of DSSBS wouldn't work.
