Re: Segagaga translation in the works
I was in Japan this past month, and I could not find a single copy of Segagaga....very disappointing. I was in Den Den Town in Osaka and Akihabara in Tokyo....I picked up lots of goodies, but this game was elusive. Still hoping to get lucky on Ebay to pick this up to play it once the patch comes out!

Re: Value of my DC stuff?
Pawning your stuff would be retarded. As mentioned before, your best bet would be to sell it a piece at a time. My recommendation would be that IF you really NEED to sell it, sell all the fighters and rpgs separately. Next, sell the system and the "filler" games as a whole while mentioning...

Re: Official Poll for a Raiden IV release on Dreamcast
Tell me this though...was Raiden III made using Renderware? If so, then they would be open to making a multi-system release. If not, it would take extra energy to bring it to the Dreamcast as....if memory serves me right....wasn't it built off of Taito's arcade Type X hardware?...something like 700 ...

Re: VGA Box into PC Input Plasma
If memory serves me right, I think that the vga box only bumped up resolution to 640 x 480. These days...that is pretty low res, and plasma tvs look super awesome even if they are only 720p but with a killer refresh rate that leaves lcd in the dust. I can probably find out at my friend's house in a ...

Re: US 360 owners: something to tide you over till Ikaruga
People are dropping over 50 bones to pick up used copies on Gamecube off of Amazon - It will be interesting to see if more shooters will come out that way...kind of makes me sad to think that such a great game is going to get bastardized into a download. I felt the same way with Symphony of the Nitg...

Re: Whats some good Dreamcast games that didn't make it to theUS
Gundam Federation vs. Zeon and Flame Gride are great games if you are into mech action. The Sakura Taisen series has been a long favorite in Japan that has never materialized over here. Advanced Daisenryaku - 2 versions actually, came out over in Japan only for those who are into Iron Storm on the S...

Re: How to play imported Dreamcast games
Last time I heard, the Utopia boot disc is a no-no as in contraband. Personally, I have used it from time to time when I don't feel like busting out the gameshark. However, as mentioned previously, Utopia is not flawless. A few games that hiccuped when I tried loading with Utopia include Sakura Tais...

that was a great video! The Wii is fun for a half-hour, but it isn't as revoultionary as everyone says it is. Games played with special accessories on Dreamcast like Sega Bass Fishing 1 and 2, Sega Marine Fishing, all of the gun games, racing games, flight sim games, Virtual On:OT, and Samba de Amig...

That really is too bad. I still have only played a little of the original and haven't even touched the sequel. As far as not making more games - it takes $$$$$$$ to make games. Sometimes stuiods have that money to make it or they wait for a publisher or another studio to outsource them the work. If ...

I don't see what all the complaining is all about - new games cost $50+ this generation unless they are budget releases. Most of the US releases can be picked up for $50 or less. The rare exceptions are Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Dragon Force. However, I've seen the first and the la...

Karous & Trigger Heart Impressions
As I know that there are several avid importers, I was curious to gauge the impression that you have concerning these two games as they are the bread & butter for the dreamcast this year until ? gets released.

Although several games have had new life on the PSP (Valkyrie Profile, Powerstone 1/2, etc.), it hasn't really changed the price for the originals. You'll still pay a pretty penny for each game on ebay. Plus, if anything, it will remind people that the only way to play these on the big screen is to ...

Ahh - that video was super sweet! I really hope that it does come out on Dreamcast. Even though the system was simply been a home to commercial shooters for the past 2+ years with the exception of Puyo Puyo Fever, another great game is always welcome. It would be nice to hear it come out on the Naom...

Nice! Thanks for the share!! I haven't touched the game in several years, but there was a time where I would work on the game I was doing on a daily basis for about a month or two. My only wish was that there were more songs / sound effects. However, it has a lot of nice features. It is really great...
