I stand corrected, thanks for the info :) Personally though, if he wants to play Oblivion, I wouldn't get a GF7 card to begin with. HDR and AA cannot be used at the same time, and even AA2x will allow for a much cleaner image than with no AA enabled at all. The 7900GS is a good overclocker though, m...

Pair it up with an X1950Pro at least, they have gone down in price by a nice bit during the last couple of months, especially the 256mb version. I have the AGP 512mb version and it offers great performance. A lot better than a 7600GT (I used to have a 7800GS, which is faster than a 7600GT, but other...

I head it's better to leave the paper thingie in it whenever you don't use your VMU, otherwise it will be empty within a couple of days, like mine here.

Also, but those batteries on ebay. I think I paid 15 bucks for them in a store, while they can be had for way less on Ebay.

How much of a bump does it take to scratch a disc while it's playing? I do have a tendency to prop my feet up on the shelf of the entertainment center, which bumps the whole shelving unit a little, but it doesn't shake it and it's not sudden or anything. I wouldn't think it would hurt it... It's a ...

I'm pretty much convinced violent games have a certain influence on kids, they like to imitate what they see on a screen. I used to play war all the time when I was young. Later on we would be playing Street Fighter and Zorro out on the street. Things kinda got out of hand with the Turtles stuff wit...

I smell a disqualification. Aren't drugs prohibited in such tournaments?

I hope to see GDrom support... a guy can dream, right? :P But seriously speaking, the only thing holding me back from DCemulation is the need to use images of games, rather than the original GDrom. So far I'm under the impression that technically it's impossible to make this work on your average cdr...

That's the exact same one I have, which I bought for 12 USD last year. I see VGA cables have become pretty rare on Ebay ever since.

Thanks for all the information! I've been looking for a nice 20" LCD myself, and I'll probably go with an LG seeing how it's getting pretty good reviews and goes for a nice price. Also, I've seen it in a store and LG has got the best image and colours out of all the monitors. On par with Samsun...

I once read about this game being some sort of cult hit in Germany, when I can get a good deal on it, I'll get it myself. Seems like a special game worth having in my collection.

Or how the PS3 has 8 cores, as far as I know, and correct me if I'm wrong, those 7 SPEs aren't much on their won without that one PPU. I guess that's what it means to be in PR, at least it's not overly exaggerated, or perhaps I've become immune to it :P

I don't think so, 19" usually has a 1440x900 resolution, and 20" has 1680x1050.

I think this really depends on your monitor. AFAIK, some will display a signal natively (small 640x480 box in the middle of the monitor) or can blow it up to the entire monitor. I don't think you'll have any problems with refresh rates... And the widescreen thing will depend on your monitor (did an...

VGA on LCD

I haven't had the chance to test it myself but I am really interested in this one. I will be getting myself a nice 20" widescreen TFT somewhere in the future and I'm really curious how Dreamcast games will look on it when hooked up via VGA. Anyone here who has experience with this? Will running...

having a free play would allow you to totally explore everything the city had to offer. In this case they could make a time-free mode where the goal is to find and drive all customers to their destinations. Or perhaps even better: Having a timer start counting from 0 and let it record how long you ...
