Recomendations for my dusty DC?

Just moved, was unpacking the consoles and found my old dusty DreamCast.... It's been at least a few years since I've mucked around with DC homebrew (xbox, psp, ds, and gp2x took up that part of my life for a while). So sceners, any emulator/homebrew apps or game recommendation for someone who was a...

Pick your dc up, about 4 feet above a hard surface ... and drop it.

I'm not joking, i have fixed 2 dreamcasts this way, when the laser was off track or whatever ... wasn't moving correctly.... i'm sorry, i just love it when tech and violence work together.

I just wanna say, as an ex gentoo user and current ubuntu user ..... yeah, debian doesn't have your normal "dependency hell" issues, that's more associated with rpm based distrobutions. Using apt-get is basically like gentoo's emerge, just without having to compile your package along with ...

Well, the exploits work great (meaning bios loaders), BUT... only one issue. They take a bit longer to boot then a mod/flashed tsop.

It takes about 15 minutes to open up the xbox, solder 2 points, and flash the bios alla 007/MS/SC/etc.

I don't see where you are getting at...

How wil this allow you to crack the cube? I mean ... uploading code through the gba linker?

I mean, now homebrew is possible on the cube, all you need is a GBA flash card, linker, and homebrew apps.... NES emu on GC anyone? =p

Question ... Gameshark / Actionreplay ... they neverare lescensed right? Like bleemcast. I know that a lot of hackers out there use these when cracking a console open to run their code... and if a xbox ver is comming out, i don't see how it would be different. But there is no way they could crack th...

In order to run IE on the dc, you would ned to emulate so much (basicly all pc companents)...

I have NO idea what you were talking about with MSN...

AND, a port of mozilla.. or a derivative of it would be nice, but ... mozilla is bloated... long live lynx! =p

It also uses a Framebuffer X-Server .... which is crap, It needs a svga server and PVR drivers .. which would improve speed in any graphical aplication...

And as far as the qnx port .... it will never be released to the public, and if it is .. it's highly illigal.

The slowdown is 1: non optimized code... 2: software renderer ... 3: your idiotic minds have a negative iq, which drains on your dc's cpu ... which in theory... would slow down your DC entirely =p

Heh, i'm just pointing it out =)

Besides, dcemu is known for being more then just an emulation site .... even though the newbies annoy me that come here ... and think things like doom/quake/qolf3d are being emulated =/
