well, in the tally of RELASED emulators, the PS2 is up 1-0 with the PS2Linux port of SMSPlus.

However, PS2 has the added advnatage of being compatible with a few PS1 emulators, which consist of a few arcade ones, a NES one and a Spectrum one

There are hombrew demos and libs etc. so there is a DEFINATE possibillity for PS2 emulators that ONLY require a modchip
