Re: USB knobs? AKA Fiddler's Pre-WWII iTunes Radio Jukebox
If you have room, you could always get a standard 15" LCD... it looks like it would be pretty centered on that shelf. You could then set the resolution to a lower one, and set your LCD so it doesn't stretch to fill the edges. Or, you could run CenterStage (or anything other than FR in a window....

360 hacked?
Hey all, I have spotty internet while I'm moving, and I'm working around the clock. If anybody could post a link, or the follow info that would be amazing: - When did this happen? - What homebrew is being developed? - What is required to do this? (my 360 has its DVD firmware flashed) - Anything seem...

Bought a PS2 slim a few weeks ago... modded, of course. I had Ico for awhile DMF-- if I knew you wanted it, would have sold it to you =( What kind of mod do you have? Mod chip, swap disc, or flip top mod? I'm not good with installing mod chips, hate the way the flip top mod looks and I don't want t...

'Splosion Man is seriously fantastic. I played the trial. It's a neat concept, but far too repetitive. I barely made it to the end of the trial, it just felt like the same level over and over. I wish they had done more with it. The first few levels are quite plain... they add quite a bit more platf...

Re: Xbox Live Preview Dropping Game Install Sizes
I really need to change my 20gb drive out. I do have a 320gb SATA drive, but I'm not 100% familiar if it is compatible, or how to do it.
Regardless, having to put the DVD in the drive kindof takes the point out of this feature.

Re: How to get good tickets for Universal Studios & Disney Land?
Agreed with the above post... however you'd need several groups. You *can* get free tickets (or close to ) that way, but it does take up a few hours of a day. Last time I was there I checked out the local Craigslist... there were several people selling tickets for $40 or $50 or so... some park hoppe...

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Networking
Probably too late at this point-- but the last 2 years I've been using an Apple AirPort Express as a bridge with my 360, and it works perfectly.
The g-version of it can be found for under $50 used.

Re: Quality of Dell Computers
I had a Dell Latitude E4300 for a while. Build quality was good, everything was pretty solid on it (reminded me of a cheaper thinkpad). The Lattitude line is really solid (and cheap! look through the outlet!). The Inspirons and even the Studio line didn't feel that great in my hands. Then again, I'v...

Re: Billy Mays Found Dead At Home
CNN reports heart disease. This really strikes me-- I loved Pitchmen and even though he was slightly annoying in his infomercials, I respected the man for all of his self-parodies, and how he seemed to be an everyday working man. Additionally, it seemed like he was just getting started with his care...

Re: Questions About iTunes HD Video
Well, what you're getting from iTunes comes in 720p (more or less). What you're getting from DVD is 480p. The transcode solutions Fiddler mentioned aren't going to degrade the files *that* much. Yes, it will be noticable, but it won't be as noticable as the 720p--->480p. If you have a good upscaler ...

Windows Problem(s)!
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my HTPC. It's running just fine, but I have a few questions about some odd things. 1) The chassis fan is super loud, so I disabled it. The computer runs at a decent temp (130 degrees F idle, 150 under some load), but I'm unsure on whether or not I should buy a ...

Sure can. It's a great tool for that sortof stuff.jaredfogle wrote:MulletMan13 wrote: I'm about to install a virtual machine on my MacBook via/ parallels and try ubuntu out myself.
