I just bought a GBA yesterday and Super Mario World (perfect port).

It will be awhile until they reach interoperability. First they have to agree on a standard, like everything else. But to do that they would have to cooperate with each other, and that is not going to happen anytime soon. I've been looking over Trillian lately, and how AOL is attempting to block it ...

First to play was an Atari 2600, a C64, then Nintendo, an old PC with only 128k ram and no hd, Genesis, 32X, N64, Dreamcast, and the laptop I am using now. Still have them all

I got it to work...some. I'm not too good at burning stuff, just wanted to play Castlevania 3. Couldn't get the backgrounds for the menu and stuff to work. Just black screen. Everything else works. Battletoads works as advertised. Couldn't get Castlevania 3 to work though :( Only took me 2 coasters ...

You should be able to play most game with that comp. Make sure you close anything thats open to improve performance (aim, virusscaner, etc.) Oh yeah, no point in using WinXP unless you got a really good comp (Pentium 4). WinME is still the way to go.

I waited until now to go from ver 3 "latest stable release." I wish someone would have told me the pre versions supported Punchout! I would have got it as soon as it came out.

First try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that dont work and other things start not working, reinstall windows (not as hard as it sounds). Hope that helps.
