And we keep posting in it, even though it's in deletion? That's fun.

Re: Wow!

I've learned a lot from this site (evidently not enough), "MY FIRST POST WAS DONE ENTIRELY IN CAPS & BEGGED EVERYONE HERE TO BELIEVE IN THE DREAMCAST AND NOT LET IT DIE". Heh. I was just reading an article about Oprah doing the same thing on her first Twitter post (well, she didn't me...

Since Star Wars. Well, they didn't actually use negative numbers, they just went through and changed history, so that the first movie became "Episode IV" so they could tack on three prequels.

Re: Recommend the best TV tuner card?

Thanks for the info, BA. That's very helpful to get me started. I would need digital, as DirecTV transmits all of their signals digitally. In addition, in June or July (it was supposed to happen in February, but the government postponed it), all over-the-air broadcasts are required to stop their ana...

Re: Looking for People to Help Develop an FOF Swap Disc

Yes, FOF uses DWI step files. According to the FOF Web site, the DWI step files are going to be a few beats ahead of or behind the FOF step files, so they have to be tested and adjusted after being put together. The intro about building swap discs/step files can be found at http://www.feetoffury.com...

Looking for People to Help Develop an FOF Swap Disc

I would really like to put together a new Feet of Fury swap disc for DC Evolution. We have been given rights to use some really cool music from a few semi-independent artists, and I think it would be really cool to put some of that music together on an FOF swap disc. Unfortunately, however, I have i...

iPhone vs. iPod Touch

Hey guys - Since neither of them will leave my new iPhone alone, we're thinking of buying an iPod touch for each of our twins for their birthday this year. I'm curious, though, what the differences are between the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Can you get basically all the same apps for the iPod Touch ...

Re: All Grown Up?

The first image is Edward Furlong, who went on to star in many other films, most notable American History X. But the absolute highest achievement of his career was The Crow: Wicked Prayer of course. What an amazing piece of cinema that movie was. Wasn't that the one that had David Boreanaz (from An...

Recommend the best TV tuner card?

I've tried this thread on the Linux Mint forums and the Mandriva forums but have gotten very little response. The Mint forums just linked me back to the compatibility thread I mentioned at the bottom of my post, and the Mandriva forums basically just linked me to Hauppage's Web site with no real dir...

Wolverine and Transformers 2. That's about all I can think of right now. Where the Wild Things Are looks pretty good, too.

Re: Warner Bros. Will Exchange HD-DVDs for Blu-Rays

I was gonna add into that, but forgot: how many combo LD/DVD players have you seen? There are quite a few, but they're quite expensive both because of the tech required as well as the niche-ness of them which forces them into the domain of the videophile. I'm not sure on the numbers, but I'd wager ...

Re: Just Bought a 360

The Wii is a pure novelty console. It's an overpriced board game. The only thing I use it for is for emulation, since I'd rather play SNES games with my classic controller on my TV than on my PC. That's BS. I'm so sick of people saying crap like that. The Wii is a console for people that are not ha...

I don't know if you guys have Cracker Barrels between LA and CA, but if you do: At Cracker Barrel, you can "buy" audio books to listen to on your road trip. When you finish the book, you pop into another Cracker Barrel and return the audio book. When you return it, they give you most of yo...

Still a huge fan of the show, it's the closest thing to a third terminator movie we're ever gonna get. But unfortunately they took WAAAAAAAY too long to get conclusion they came to and most of season 2 was just bullshit. I hope a third season comes out as I wanna see more Glaubot wearing ski...

PDA Question

Is it possible to change the resolution on a handheld/pocketPC running Windows Mobile? I am looking at getting an HP iPaq for use at work and to help me develop a mobile version of our Web site. However, while the 640x480 display will be nice for most things I want to do on the iPaq, it won't really...
