GC players sometimes do appear in tiny little groups, but random players appear aswell, you can mention when you will be online (stating timezone) and maybe randoms will see your post and join aswell.

If some are intersted, I'll ask my boyfriend to make somes vidéos of the game play on both consoles. That would be interesting, i have seen plenty of videos, from battle to challenge, to regular/normal gameplay and even unusual gameplay, but the videos you are sugesting aren't really a common sight...

The very 1st thing to do would be to find a way to backup your save, either by using server commands or by using tools or PSO itself to copy the save to another memory card. I believe it was a game mechanic, not meant to really follow the story, it was a design decision probably.

I am getting mixed messages. All I want to do is play the game online with a friend, and not have to go through the levels alone and offline. Well technically it's allowed because it can't be detected and at the same time as you read it can't be used. I guess it was a method to prevent cheating, sega also implemented a basic legit checker on the servers, but none of them were actually effective at preventing cheating and other annoyances. This seems to be a PSO v2 Dreamcast issue i suppose. Yes, but the problem was specifying an area as the culprit when that is not the case, areas cannot avoid FSOD, there is no safe area, pioneer will not prevent FSOD.

The "grinding" sound that many people complain about is just the head moving back and forth. That's not the lens reading, and it shouldn't hurt anything. That pretty much explains why i never had issues with the lens. The loadings will be faster and while it's usually to small for anyone ...
