Alright I did what you guys said and it worked for a little bit then stopped and now I can't get it to work again. But every time I turn the DC on I start hearing a buzzing noise and one time I let it keep buzzing, then the Dreamcast shut off, but I could turn back on a few minutes later. I'm think...

i dont see how the f1 could interfere with the main power led. they are in no way connected to one another... the only thing i can thing is to make sure that the legs of the led are making good contact, with the contacts where the old led was. if all else fails you can just run some wires from the p...

uh... no i think it's just you. only took me about 2 minutes to do this mod. and that's including the time it took for my soldering iron to heat up. my suggestion is to just hold the legs of the led on the controller board while it's open and hooked up to the mobo with the white ribbon cable. turn i...

well i ripped off the two large gray wires off of the orignal power button. placed it in there how it normally would, ran all of the wires, and used some puddy (it could be glued) to stick it to the clear triangle thing. it's very simple. sorry for the crude pic, i think it gets my point across nice...

I had a spare extention thing for my PC PSU and I thought I'd go ahead a cut those wires up so I could use them. They were a bit big, and it was really hard to get them soldered on the pins. I need to buy some thinner wire. if you have an old controller (from pretty much any console/pc/ wha...

go buy yourself a new (rechargable) button cell battery. i'm not sure about the size but if it's the same size as the one in now and it's rechargable get it and replace it. it's not too complicated if you have a basic understanding of electronics (+=positive, and -=Negitive)

yea it would be easy but kinda pointless. the psu does put out some heat but have you ever fealt the gdrom case after playing a game for about 30 minutes. it gets REALLY hot. well not really hot but hotter than n e thing else in the dreamcast that i've touched
