Hello, anything new?

I've plugged me dreamcast back in again - it's not working very well, but hey ho I might or might not solve that.

Other than that not much is new with me - I've still 5 unfinished mods, and I'm still the oldest person on this forum.

:)

Well it's finished, took me about 7 hours in total, not bad really. Anyway it's a "collect all the items before the time limit or bad things will come get you" type mod. It can be quite fustrating to beat (as my play-tester son tells me) but a funny reward awaits you if you do, well I thin...

Lunkin's Christmas Carol: The Goblin that Stole Christmas A seasonal mini-mod which is work in progress, although it will definitely be out by Christmas Eve, as it's whizzing along, and now it comes with a lovely xmas-y, funny, extra, thingy for those who win at it. it's now 99% done, I'm just twea...

Released last night, finally, and with great relief on my part. Right up until the end I was finding new problems, and new solutions, and more usefully learning a bit more about making mods. The number of times however, that fixing one thing, just plain broke another, was very fustrating, especially...

That's why the game manual and the readme.txt says play it with TomazQuake, and tq148 is included in the download, and my post above mentions it only plays wiht one pc engine. Yeah framretaes are poor at times; well not ony my 3ghz, 6800ultra rig, but at times on my 1.5ghz, 5900ultra one. I did get ...

An apology It was never a certainty, never definite, and never something I was working on as I went along. It was never something that was as important or fundamental to the process as it is, so succesfully, in Tyne's The Ascension Of Vigil. Consequently, it's been something that has been compromis...

Release date: 12th August 2005 It will be available for download from my website and from the QEXPO site. Hopefully in my , quite probable, rush and panic in the final few hours of getting it ready, I'll remember to post about it here. Click here for a latest image. I'll have quite long and rambling...

to do

http://www.ajaysquakesite.co.uk/todo.jpg The long, long list on the left is the various code, mapping and general 'stuff' I have to do. The middle one is the list of big bugfixes I have to solve. The right hand list are features I'd like to put in / do, if I have time. The clock is ticking, and now...

QEXPO

A little bit in the same vein as darkhalo2's "what you doing" thread, I thought I'd begin a discussion about any plans people around here may have for this year's proposed QEXPO. So do you have any plans, any projects in the pipelines, any being aimed directly at it, any you're steering to...

My Quake related plans are as follows, unfortunately they are not all dreamcast related. 1. Lunkin's Journey . As in finishing it, which I nearly have. Honest. The countdown on my website is looking spookily accurate. I had a little pause when the current level just went nowhere fast, with annoying ...

Thanks. There's nothing actually done in terms of quake content, except for texture gathering, writing, sketches and that video; which does itself show exactly what the atmosphere and feel of the mod will be. I'm looking for scary, worrying, tense and almost depressing/paranoia inducing! The music's...

In the spirit of E3 type: "giving_nothing_away_yet_still_trying_to_entice_future_players" trailers; please click on this then on the link below the blog . No, it has nothing to do with Lunkin's Journey, but everything to do with what I'll be working on in August, and what I'm gathering stu...
