Ahh.. I miss the 'Playstation Store' in the Sony Metreon. You can go in there and play tons of PSX and PS2 games, they'll let you play for about 15-30mins, sometimes longer depends on how busy it is.. Its also pretty much the best place to buy psx gear as they seem to have everything (well for obvio...

Not only reviews, but codes.ign.com is also pretty locked down.. pretty lame.. they're definately off my list of 'places to go to look for codes'. You can supposedly get a free account, it will be paid for by one of their advertisers. But you have to sign up for some stuff, and it could take a while...

Well good luck. Somebody else already mentioned that Game Factory used DirectX and other Windows specific code for a lot of things.

Just give them time to work on improving the sound portion of the emu. Obviously, this release is 0.9.6, not 1.0, so there are bound to be some issues you wont like. Honestly, I turn off sound on a lot of games because the music/sound is just lame anyways.

Yep, thats why I've suggested using a s3m, mod, or xm for a while now. Everybody ignores it though and loads a mp3.. you could put that whole s3m in ram and only occupy like 300k and have a good song, and not have your cdrom going crazy. The ROMS.LST definately speeds up the directory listing though...

Well seriously, learn to handle error conditions. If for some reason a mp3 doesn't exist, or for some reason wont load, STOP TRYING TO LOAD IT. What if somebody replaces the mp3 with a corrupt mp3, or some random file that is still a audio file, but not a mp3 (yes, some people are stupid). The code ...

If its hanging because no mp3's are on the folder, then the programmers of DreamSNES really need to learn how to handle error conditions. If no mp3 exists, STOP TRYING TO FUCKING PLAY IT. It's not hard.

Nope. I belive that is a problem that exists due to lack of QA from the DreamSNES authors.

W00h00. 0.9.6 is definately an improvment with the cpu optimiztions option enabled. However, rom listing is broke. I've actually had the DC lockup on me during the rom listing, and reboot a few times. I'm using a ROMS.LST and its only listing a few games, leaving the menu then going back in will som...

If its freezing after you swap the disc then chances are it doesn't support disc swapping. Use dcfactory to build your SMEG selfboot cd.

My question for the DreamSNES team is, are they going to keep up to date on newer Snes9x releases, and when are they going to enable the GameGenie support. Snes9x already has built in support for GameGenie, and the ability to 'search' for new codes. It'd be great to see that enabled. I realize they'...
