If there is not a pre-fetched thing for it then any unzippped file over about 12mb will not work. Thats the point of the Alpha, more popel will need to work on pre-fetch files.

SvcChaos is very playable though so I dont know what you have doen wrong with that.

Crikey its been a long time since ive been here.. Being one of the first to overclock the DC the fastest you can overclock it is 276MHZ. Overclocking the pixel clock made no benchmark imporvments that I noticed (i used Dreamsnes, Sega Rally and then Shenmue 2 for the testing). Ive not added any extr...

Fathead, Can you capture some movies of the DC overclocked in action? I dont have a acpture device for my DC otherwise I would do it for mine. Shenmue 2 runs smooth for example It would be good to have moview running side by side to show the performance difference. BTW I got my CPU up to 288 with a ...

This is cool, as the Neo Geo emu is much slower than the Neo geo CD emus. so that means all of the games which worked on that will now be full speed.

Shame there is no link for the tool

Bring it on! Personally Im happy with only shooters being released as teh require litlte languge skills and they (alongside with puzzlers) are one of ht emost pure gaming experiences you can have. Also it make the DC seem far more healthy than sstrugling with tedious dating games. because people act...

Ok, The pipes version of the DC is not as effective as teh rev1 board. The pipes machines do overheat and are less efficent in cooling the DC. With REV1 the heatsink is better designed in the dc. This make the dc run cooler. The pipes were a bodge to get the dc out of the door in time. When overcloc...

Its a good game, I got the guide of Game FAQs and played it 2player. Its not to hard to work out whats going on, and if we got stuck we would use the guide. I enjoyed it much more than resident evil CV. I also dont normally persist with games all in Jap. But its good. Its also quite expensive to get...

NTSC DC's run hotter than PAL DC's, However if you run the PAL DC at 60 Hz then there is nothing really in it.

Dont you need to ensure the time/date settings have to appear? Otherwise the disc will not stop? Also when this screen appears then the Bios doesnt reset when you disc swap so you dont need the lid switch down. Again memory could hae faded, and pro-plus may be disorting my memory, its been ages I no...

No probs Rand, I've just finished a 80hr week () so the original question could have been worded a bit better. I just fancied playing one of my old games. (edit should have been a PM)

Quasar PM me and I'll show you how to do it.

It wont work. A mod chip allows multi-region games to be played. I want to boot GDRWs, There is a hack so you do not need to have a system disk. Sorry if I was not more clear

cheers
