Finally possible to read original GD roms via a normal drive
I wont go into too much detail but long story short it involves using the following 1. a drive that supports reading CD's with a TOC of up to 122mins 2. 2 CD's, 1 audio 1 data, burned with a TOC of 122mins each (the CD's dont need to be able to store that much data, just written with a bogus TOC). 3...

Congratulations, another Naomi to DC port that looks better on the DC then the Ps2, what an achievement  . I could have sworn this was 2006, yet I feel like im posting in a thread from 2002. The X-Box port of MGS2-Substance has more slowdown then the Ps2 port, does that make the Ps2 more power...

What Metafox was getting at is they used FMV to show the power of the PS2, which means nothing, while saying they were ingame graphics. But in MGS2's case they were, there are certain camera shots in that trailer that arent possible in the game because tey wanted to highlight certain area's, but it...

If one full motion video demo of Metal Gear Solid 2 has convinced you that the PS2 is the better machine, then you haven't opened your eyes to the reality before you And when MGS2 came out and the assclown who wrote this saw it was real in game footage and not FMV, it killed his article, going down...

Colour me ****in impressed @ the Ps2 port of Resident Evil 4
Wow, I mean they said it couldnt be done, but Capcom did it and they deserve a medal. At first glance the only thing I noticed straight away was some of the cut scenes that were real time on the cube are FMV's on the Ps2, and the lighting effects were toned down. Now that ive had another look at the...

So the dc version is different as far as control lagg. Instead of whining about it, a true SF fan would be looking for ways to overcome the challenge of mastering the DC version. That is the single lamest excuse i have ever heard. True Street Fighter fans dont play the DC version at tournamen...

im i the only one that understood his post?, his not complaining and saying the dc is crap, his just pretty much saying capcom did a bad port of the game to dc, and gave the ps2 a better port, hows that hard to understand, everyone knows the dc could of handled it perfect just like the ps2 version,...

Nope, besides if that was the case it would effect the Ps2 as well.Nyarlathotep wrote:-Johnick- wrote:
They were both taken with the same camera, running on the same TV, through the same type of connection (RGB Scart) so how was the Ps2 port at any advantage ?.
Let me take a wild guess:

Unless you play it to a competition standard the aspects that were altered or fixed will go unnoticed to 99.9% of the people who buy it anyway. If 99.9% of people arent gonna notice why did Capcom, a company who are notorious for doing lazy ports, fix them ?. You dont need to be that high a level t...
