If I am not mistaken, an early 1999 issue of EGM did have screenshots for the first in the Street Fighter 3 series for Sega Saturn. I believe that it printed that there were only like 50,000 copies in distribution around Asia and it also made use of the 4 mbyte RAM cart[but it still had painful load...

Whats up everyone? I just recently moved to a Virtual PC 2004 emulator setup for Linux. It works EXCELLENT being able to use a real linux Red Hat Linux environment. They have a trial version at Microsoft's website. Whats great is that with this, you can use BlackAura's GCC build-script (but make sur...

There are combos you could never pull off in part 2 that you can in part 1 (such as 4 level 1 Supers comboed into each other) An example, if you have SNK mode(S-Groove in part 2), when you are in the red zone, do a low med. kick to shinku hadouken, combo shinku hadouken after that, then shinku hurri...

I am unsure if I am doing this right, but I want to clear the screen and the vram completely, but I was wondering if the following method would work?
or is there another way

free(vram_s); //I know one line, but hey.

Surface->Pitch?
Is the pitch the number of bytes per pixel? I am confused as to what it really is.

Best way to fill area?
I was wondering, what is the best way to fill a certain part of the screen, say at pixel 32,32 with a rectangular fill or 200,150? Should I just use a flat shaded Polygon to fill that area? Or is there a better way?

PVR Resolution?
In all PVR demos, there is no setting of resolution in any of the examples. Does it just default to 640 by 480 with 16 bit depth?

Well, it all depends if you are doing this in assembly or C. Im assuming the question is how can I go from a WORD to DWORD. Well, I believe that you should be able to just typecast from an integer to a long. In assembly, just use the following : toDbl: mov.l sourceAddressofVariableContainingWord, RN...

I just reinstalled Cygwin and it seems the new version is glitching. When I try using vi, it does not open up the editor and there are no directories at the root!
