Re: Anyone play Civ?

Just fired up Civ IV earlier, to take a trip down memory lane, since it's been a while since I've played it. Man, it's not comparable. Civ VI is definitely way better.

Anyone play Civ?

I loaded up Civ VI last week and my girlfriend was intrigued and ended up buying it too. Long story short, we ended up playing Civ VI for 4 days straight with only food, bathroom, and work breaks  Anyone on here play Civ? Would anyone be down to play a network game sometime, preferably someone ...

Re: Nintendo Switch

Unfortunately I have somehow ended up having a PS4 and Xbox One in my household, but no Switch, which is the only one I want out of the three. Hmph. (The Xbox One I bought for 4K media playback but decided against it the same day I got it but Target wouldn't accept the return. It's been in a box eve...

DCEmu Tapatalk Support Restored

A few years ago someone asked me to install the phpBB plugin for Tapatalk, the mobile app that integrates with message boards. I thought it was interesting and did so, but that plugin requires updates and I failed to maintain it, and eventually the board stopped working on Tapatalk. Well, with the f...

Re: Downtime, and forum software updated to version 3.2

MediaWiki was brought up to the latest 1.30 branch. Dumpcast's separate phpBB board was brought up to the latest 3.2 branch. After perusing access logs for the week prior to the site being disabled, I believe the excessive resource usage was because of bots/crawlers generating massive amounts of tra...

Re: Downtime, and forum software updated to version 3.2

Update on the excessive resource usage: The excessive resource usage was specifically in regards to the site's database, as the SQL DB is quite large. As a temporary solution I am hosting the database on a secured FreeBSD jail on a box at my home (I have business/server-class internet connection at ...

Downtime, and forum software updated to version 3.2

We had a few issues with excessive resource usage on our host. Unfortunately, they disabled the site in the middle of the night, a surprise which caught me off guard and as such the site had to remain down as I found the time to fix it. During the downtime, I took the opportunity to upgrade the phpB...

Re: Elysian Shadows Kickstarter Live NOW!

Well, I'm just looking at your Kickstarter page, how many people paid for the creation rewards ? about 1% of the total 4 people did, out of ... 2282 What does that have to do with your point re: funding it for the game or funding it for the toolkit? The release of the toolkit doesn't have anything ...

Re: Elysian Shadows Kickstarter Live NOW!

The Kickstarter was about an RPG game, not an RPG Maker. You build a really nice tool that only you can use for now, but you miss the game that people are waiting for, a nice game engine without content is useless. People didn't pay you for a tool, they paid for a game. Well, to be fair, I did. I h...

Re: Elysian Shadows Kickstarter Live NOW!

Well, I feel I oughta respond to this... I completely understand the upset towards Falco, as anyone backing this surely must be disappointed in the progress of the project, years later and pretty much nothing delivered. People have the right to be upset. Add to it the fact that Falco is obviously no...
