Re: Windows 7 and ASPI?

Well, as said before, this will take time to debug,
I won't be able to do that before end of april, since I'm leaving on holidays in a few days.

I'll come back on this by the end of april.... if you don't find a solution in the meanwhile :)

See you in a few weeks !

Re: Windows 7 and ASPI?

I had a look at it on my system: CDRWIN 4.0H with mekugiaspi 0.2 in the same folder, option "use the ASPI driver installed by CDRWIn (if any)" (note that I did not install the wnaspi provided by the installer during the installation): * UAC ON: - NOT "Run as administrator": error...

Re: Windows 7 and ASPI?

Can you try with UAC enabled, and with "run as administrator" ?

Just to exclude that possibility...
A few google searches tells me the UAC off is not as straightforward as one might think...

Re: Windows 7 and ASPI?

Hello, I'm just a big lurker here... I need my weekly dose of DC-programming related stuff, even if I can hardly find the time to program myself anymore :) In fact, I already got a few messages of it working with other CD-related programs... Before going further, a few basic checks: - I suppose you ...

Re: Windows 7 and ASPI?

Has anybody tried MekugiASPI? If not, I guess I'll have to be the guinea pig... I tried it, because I made it :) It's not (yet) a full replacement for wnaspi32.dll, but it has enough functionalities to allow you to use a Katana devkit on Win7 64bits. (that's the only reason I made this dll after al...

The list at this point is not exhaustive, it's mainly based on modems I got my hands on,
so you can't make such conclusions at this point.
(I only had a few US/Canada dreamcasts compared to a lot of japanese ones & a few PAL ones)

Re: Reading raw audio sectors

Blue, why did you change params[1] to be 4096 for 2352 sectors and 8192 otherwise? Do we know what this param does? The last change to the cdrom code was actually mine that I needed for reading raw sectors from PCE-CD games for HuCast. iirc it worked fine there, but they weren't audio sectors, they...

Re: Dreamcast Media Center

Hello & thank you for the files ! I've launched it via dc-tool to do a quick video test... but unfortunately, the mpeg files I wanted to launch weren't visible in the directory. I suppose it's because the files have the file extensions .mpg and .mpeg. It would be nice to have a button that would...
