Re: REQUEST: Xash3D --Port--> XashDC - Or HLDC DLL Hooking

It isn't a bad idea, but it would be one Hell of an undertaking that would need a team of talented DC coders. I don't know that anyone is really interested in taking on something like this.

Re: Intrepid Izzy Kickstarter launched!

The Demo looks great!

A couple of questions:

1.) I thought I noticed some frame drops in the DC demo, or was that the fault of the capture card being used?

2.) Will there be a PC demo released?

Keep up the great work, game looks like a ton of fun!

Re: Intrepid Izzy Kickstarter launched!

Very impressive! Any chance you guys can post a video of the current DC build? I'd love to see that fluid animation on the DC!

Re: Quake 3 lightmaps - PVR Multi-Texture

Very impressive. It looks like the textures are a bit blurry (similar to your earlier example that you then improved by 1/2 lightmap resolution). Amazing work though!

Re: powervr2 limits

So in terms of power the 6th gen would look like this: xbox>gamecube>ps2>psp>dreamcast How much more powerful is the ps2 compared to the psp and dreamcast? The PSP was not part of that gen. 1.) It is a portable, not a console. 2.) It was release in North America in 2005, the same calendar year as t...

Re: Elysian Shadows team to release their development suite!

I was super excited to see the Elysian Shadows kickstarter hit it's initial funding goal. Do you think it would be possible to see what the DC build looks like right now compared to all the promo images that have been put out that I am assuming are PC based? Thanks!

Re: Pier Solar HD on Dreamcast demonstration

I am curious about the additional resolution support they hope to add to the VGA box. I know in the past coders have mentioned that 800x600 could be hit, but at a performance decrease. Is it possible that they have worked around this? Could they potentially pull off a native widescreen resolution? O...

Re: New Dreamcast SD Adapter on sale at Chinese website

I thought my total cost was $10, but buyfromtaobao decided that I hadn't paid shipping from them to me yet, so I had to tack on another $10. Total of $20 still isn't bad though. I am thinking I will get one of the new hacked up models with the built in VGA and SD though. Those things are sweet.

I ordered from buyfromtaobao.com and mine has made it to them and been shipped out to me. Total cost was $10. Hopefully it will arrive in the next week or two.

Re: 2D Tile Editors

Thanks for the update. It sounds really great. I have been searching for a good tool/way to make a game for DC and so far I had really only found BoR and Fenix. BoR kinda limits your game type and Fenix is a little buggy from what I can tell. Anyway, thanks again for the update. I do not know if thi...

Re: 2D Tile Editors

Sure thing. I wasn't expecting any grandiose release this early in the development process. I was just curious if that was were this project was eventually heading, or if your engine was going to be more for private use. Thanks again.

Re: 2D Tile Editors

Bumpity Bump Bump Bump! Any update on this. I was liking the sound of a simple 2D engine/editor for DC. Maybe something that consisted of DC libraries that you could add your files to and run your homebrew games on. (Like Fenix but more GUI, less code). Probably just wishful thinking, but I know a l...
