Is this on a GD-ROM/pressed CD/CD-R?
Any copyright info in the package?
How big is the ISO?
Any chance of seeing this ripped and letting the rest of us see it too?

DVD Style cases - PAL
I saw this auction: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEAD-OR-ALIVE-2-for-PAL-DREAMCAST-NEW-Rare-dvd-style_W0QQitemZ8250356767QQcategoryZ27236QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem And was wondering if there are many other games released in similar packaging. There were probably no official releases like this (this one says &quo...

I'm not sure that would work, at least with the 2x/4x VMUs/MUs I know about. Typically they have the memory broken down into 200 block pages, which are switched between using a button on the memory unit. Thus you only ever have 200 blocks to work with at a time. Of course I may be wrong, and the typ...

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, checked out Sega GT, and the PAL version has Japanese and European cars, whereas the Japanese HomoSpec seems to be entirely Jap cars. Interesting about JSR, thanks for that too. I thought there would have been more significant differences, especially given the lengthy t...

NFL Blitz 2000 PAL logo
Anyone got a good logo for this game they wanna share.
My PAL back inlay has a blank spine! Just the swirl and part number on there, no name or logo at all.

DC Games: Significant differences between regions?
I was wondering what DC games have major differences between different regions for the same game. Things that make it noteworthy, for example, something that adds to the game, such as extra levels, better graphics, or extra modes of play, new areas, etc. An example of what I'm thinking about is the ...

I know, it's a shame. This is probably the most comprehensive account of what the game was like:

Technically, some of the games already on the list were unplayable in the first place.

Again I feel sad about all those great games that just didn't make it to DC :( I was just wondering if there were any games planned for the DC that didn't get released on any other platform. Probably not many. Agartha is the only one I can think of (and of course PA). Was there (m)any others? Some ...

For an arcade game, the way collisions are handled has always brought down my opinion of this game, especially collisions with the walls. I'm of the opinion that if the game is trying to be arcade, you should be able to bounce along the wall a bit livelier than you actually can. Although you could a...

This is one of the saddest excuses for a forum thread I've ever seen! If you have the game already, leave them sealed. If you've never played the game before, but want to, and can't wait to play the game, or can't wait to get an unsealed copy, open them. If you don't want to play the games, why TF d...

Maybe you don't need extra software - have a look here: http://www.the-console-corner.com/shop/product.php?productid=6036 Probably just like connecting up an old external serial Zip drive. Might be painfully slow to transfer across the data though. Also, you need to find a way to bring the data size...

First thing you should wonder is why your disks are getting so scratched. Are you tying them to your feet, and trying to use them as skates down your gravel driveway, or maybe the spindle inside your DC has dropped a little, and when the disk spins, it rubs and scratches against one of the two black...

I don't think you need to... you do! Yeah, before you get into the game (PAL version) you have to select your Hz (50/60), and if you select 50, you can't open files that have been saved at 60Hz, and vice versa. I'm guessing it's something to do with times/timing and records, rather than a technical...

Save file hacking
I'm wondering if it's possible to alter a save file for MSR that has been saved using 60Hz mode, so that it will become 50Hz mode.

Rare stuff, like promos... a few questions
Just wondering if chat about promos (like white-label PAL promos) is tolerated in the forums, like here? Also, wondering about their worth, and how rare they are. I got a Bust-A-Move promo recently, a white GD-ROM, and it came with a manual (appears identical to the full release), and it came in a D...
