I took apart the DC to attempt to adjust the pot, but it looked like a reddish pink epoxy or glue may have been put on the back side of that screw, I tried to turn it but I honestly don't think it moved at all, I wasn't in the greatest lighting but I'm almost certain it never did turn. I unplugged a...

It will spin up for just a brief moment, when I close the door to the DC it will spin the disc and the lens will move up and down for a moment to focus, but then that's it. I don't know that I'd say that it seems to bog down, it just spins the disc for a moment though. Obviously you'd think that the...

Hell when buying your material of choice in lowes they'll cut it for you and if you need to make it a special size they'll usauly let you borrow a tool to do it right their or do it for you. If you live in the U.S. and have a harbor freight store near you, they often have a rotary tool for sale really cheap, $7.99... Or you can order it off of their website. It's on sale until the 29th, it's a cheapo...

Push the laser a little to the outside with your finger (be careful not to touch the lens). Probably just a coincidence with the controllers. Ok, I tried this, I pushed it towards the center. When I turn the DC on I can hear the lens quickly zip back to the center and it still gives me the 'Please ...

Dreamcast cannot read discs after cleaning controller...???
I bought a used DC a few days ago, it's been working fine. I bought two controllers with it, and the joystick on one of them felt like it might need to be cleaned, it wasn't as smooth as the other controller but it did work fine. So I took it apart, cleaned it up (I used no chemicals or liquids, jus...
