You could try dcplaya 2.0. It's jpeg viewing is good although you can't zoom or move the pic around.

I had the exact same problem. After awhile the fake dos thing does get screwy in xp. I had to download a tiny xp fix and everything worked proper afterwards. If you need the file I could email it.

Plays games well. No Glitching or anything that I saw. Speed and sound is only thing that isn't great but this is just real early on so it's expected. Great all around otherwise. Great work!
