OK I beleive you are speaking of DOSBOXDC , the PCDos emulator ? I haven't had this problem in a long time so I wanted to ask, the DC screen it goes WHITE (Does not reset) and keeps trying to read the cd over and over again ... (But all my other burns and selfboots work great) It comes as a scramble...

Re: Lemmings ?Only request I have ever made:Old IBM PC game port
Yup,, You're right ---- (I think I was wrong about the DOS and Win9x version), I do remember now the CGA/EGA and the PC Speaker blip on the DOS version -- Not too bad though .... So you say Amiga is better huh ? Here are some screenshots of my win95 version, cant find the dos right now.... It is ver...

Re: What is the best CD-R for the Dreamcast?
The relationship between media type and burn quality depends on your burner's hardware and firmware. So does the relationship between burn speed and quality, sometimes (IIRC some years ago there was a 4x Yamaha CD-R burner that was infamous for making terrible burns at 2x, but at 1x or 4x it was fi...

Re: Lemmings ?Only request I have ever made:Old IBM PC game port
Hey Skynet, I was never lucky enough to have an Amiga, but I will dig into my backup discs and check my old DOS stuff ... I am Pretty-Sure Lemmings was the same in DOS 5.x(Not sure if older) and Windows 3.1+ / and win95+ ... but I could be wrong ... NOT SURE about the Amiga though, my buddy had one,...

Re: What is the best CD-R for the Dreamcast?
(Never-ending discussion) Yes most replys are correct, BUT I DO HAVE TO ADD MY 2 cents. It 'seems' to me, that the cheaper the CD the better my DC will read it. NO MATTER what burner, what speed, what program, or what computer I use to burn a disk, some disks that I "thought" were high qua...

Lemmings ?Only request I have ever made:Old IBM PC game port
Whats up, In 6 years of tinkering with this Dreamcast I have never, not once asked for a port or download of any kind.... Until now, maybe it already exist ??? Lemmings ! Anyone remember the game ? IBM PC, Game gear, I'm sure every system had a version of it, BUT, I was always adicted to the PC vers...

If you get aaaaaa then that means it hasnt yet read the disc. Sometimes it takes a bit. Whats up man .... Yeah it says: (Even after sitting for 15 minutes) aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa Also when I placed roms in the root, it showed 6 of the first roms (Just like listed above) but never loaded any more. ...

that's what problably happened to me, i burned a cd with a lot of SBIs, including DCStella, but all i got in dcstella is a black screen, i had to make a DCstella.ini, right? and other programs also didn't worked with the sbi inducer, like DC media player, when i load it, the DC resets, the same wit...

As off topic as this seems, BaLLZaCH, we normally frown on people bumping year old topics, and then triple posting in them. There is an edit button for a reason. And exactly how did I know how old this was? Demonius X, no further explanation. ETR, you are right. My bad. But, in my way of thinking, ...

Um... yeah, you're right. My guess is (and I could be wrong) that the WWWSHARK.TXT is really the binary, and needs to be renamed but I just tried renaming it 1st_read.bin and selfbooting it with selfboot.exe and it just resets after the SEGA screen. A few more attempts might tell me more conclusive...

it supports roms on a seperate CD so yea, that would probably be the best. When I try disc swapping it 'locks up' the DC. Ill try again ... :-( BUT I also am having problems reading ROMs. I can see the menu BUT all it lists is 6 files : UPDATE: When I placed the 8.3 roms in the ROOT: game1.pce game...

Wake, yes that directory structure worked. Yeah !!! DURRRRRHHHH To me !!! It needs the roms to work, huh ? I just assumed it would boot without them - APARENTLY not. :-) Toast, i read your FAQ but can you actually move and play the games or is it just eye candy ? Hey I had a question now that I know...

Man, I dunno. It still reboots the DC I Downloaded wam0900.bin again. Used Scramble.exe put wam0900.bin and IP.bin in an empty directory. Made a folder inside that director called toastman\wam\games Used Selfboot buddy to create a CDI Burned with disc juggler. It just resets the DC. I think WAM hate...
