Soldering Torches

Are these any good for console modding? I'm kinda interested in buying one, but I'm kind of thinking it will melt my console or something like that. Does anyone use these regularly for mods?

Mod Chip Problems

Well, I finally got my 30 Watt Soldering Iron in the mail today, so I decided to go to work on my DC mod chips. I connected the wires as shown in the crap diagram Lik-Sang gave me, (although there was an overabundance of solder....), and put the thing back together. I try to turn it on...and the pow...

Re: Walk Of Game : Video Game Land Mark

That's it? What about people like David Crane, Jeff Minter, Al Lowe etc.? Would have known you'd throw a shoutout to Al Lowe. :P But yeah, both Lowe and Minter deserve a nomination - as well as Roberta Williams, Ron Gilbert, and Tim Schafer. I'd add Ralph Bauer to that list. :) For those who don't ...

The Bleempods are similar to PS1--Dreamcast controller converters, in that they allowed the use of PS1 Dual Shocks (with vibration function) on the DC. The good thing about these, as opposed to the cheapie ones that are readily available on eBay, is that they would correctly map every button, and al...

Alright, thanks. If I was to add a stupid-crazy amount of lights would I have to add another source of power? Thanks. =)

I introduced my bud to WA this weekend...and he thought it was horrible. :o

I don't think he can be my friend any more if he doesn't like Worms!

I remember playing WA with my cousin when he would come over...damn, did I laugh hard. That game is hilarious. :red)

Indeed, it is quite a shame that Halo is topping the list. While by no means a poor game, compared to likes of Zelda, Mario, Sonic, among others, Halo just doesn't stand up. I honestly believe Goldeneye to be a better game than Halo. Probably all the Halo fanboyz who consider the PS1 old-skool. :spi...

Seaman, with the microphone should be around $15-$20, as others have stated. A new & sealed copy of it (box, everything, etc. all factory sealed) should run about $25. $35 is a bit steep.

LED Lights

Hi, new user here. :) I've been around Dreamcasthistory (as einbebop44) for a few months now, but I've just become interested in console modding. Which leads us to the question at hand. I have a few questions about LED lights, which have probably been answered before, but anyway, here they are: 1. F...
